To mark the milestone of #100 I thought I’d celebrate by playing a song from each of the last 100 years, in order. Starting in 1920 and ending in 2020. We sail through the decades accompanied by snippets of radio broadcasts and speeches that mark the passage of time. The mix was conceived at the start of lockdown and has taken 100 days to come to fruition. I’ve carefully cut, mixed and edited a unique 3 hr tour through history, with a small amount of artistic licence but always with the listener in mind. I hope you enjoy it x

Number 99 features 2 hours of dreamy electronica and lush ambient textures for all the caged hearts and daytime dreamers. The first half was recorded with the doors and windows open on a beautiful sunny day at the weekend. The 2nd half was painstakingly mixed down and cut up over and over the last month. Music to work, eat, sleep and dream to x

Ready to solve all your problems. Or one of them. Maybe. If you're problem is that you want to dance about your house on your own or run wild and free with a banging' soundtrack. Anyway, this is for you, from me x

A celebration of disco and boogie from Africa and the Caribbean (mostly) dating back to the golden era of 1979-1985. Expect songs flirting with afro-beat and dripping with soul but rooted firmly on the dancefloor

NYE & disco go hand in hand for me. So here's the 3rd instalment of my NYE Disco series to get you in the mood for celebrating

#95 is one for early mornings, late nights or day dreams. Beautiful electronic music for the soul. With tracks from Khruangbin, The Cinematic Orchestra, King Krule, Djrum, Domenique Dumont and Bibio amongst others

With Accapella covers of 60's classics, electronic explorations, Acid Rap, 80s soulful groovers, seductive deep house, 90s nostalgia, hip-hop mashups, disco dubs and 6am techno it's fair to say that #94 is all over the place. The only thing missing is any viking chat whatsoever, 'phew' you may say. 75 minutes of classic viking explorations which starts slow and builds throughout.

93 is designed for summers, poolsides, bbq's etc. For both daytime and evenings alike. 80 minutes of balearic excursions to help you break free

An hour of dreamy electronica, tripped out ambience, jazz tinged salutes to sunsets and meandering meditational movers or "A quiet rebuke of the mania of modern life"

#91 is 4th in the series of ambient mixes programmed for sleep, work, meditation or daydreams. The mix starts with 30 mins of really chilled electronic stuff before descending into a deep ambience

#90 is a classic slice of RC Viking Radio starting with some mellow seaside vibes, moving through a selection of pristine electronica, picking up with some groovey warm up tracks before peaking with a few deep house gems to leave just enough room to squeeze in a few final curvey numbers at the end. Big love x

89 starts with a John Cleese sampling intro before moving quickly through a couple of dreamy numbers plucked from obscurity. The Joze Gonzales/DJ Koze blend is a thing of rare beauty which is followed up the oddball Swedish electronic duo Shakarchi & Straneus. We then move into daytime balearic territory with Mudd and John Makin with two sunset style tracks, these are followed by several diverse sounding electronic momente. Next the mix brings back the Balearia starting with the exquisite track ‘picture of departure’ and two peak time white isle gems before closing with the brilliant Maya Angelou (who’s beautiful words give this mix it’s name) singing/talking over the start of the ambient god Max Richter. Enjoy

#88 is a light hearted trip through the world of Jungle and Drum & Bass, some of my favourites both new and old all in one place

An upbeat, tropical, disco-ish trip through the mind of a Viking on a beach in a heatwave.

Eighty six is a hot one. Recorded live from the croquet club on Brighton/Hove beach during a heatwave. It's packed full of laid back vibes and drifts all over the place always keeping the sunshine in mind. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed making it.

#85 is classic RC Viking Radio which takes you on an eclectic journey through the mad mind of a red faced Viking. The mix starts slowly with some dreamy numbers but builds up after 20 mins with some African bangers, modern funk & soul and a bit of hip-hop. So many of my favourites all in one place. Enjoy
